Our Bank better known as Oppenheimer Kreuz was planted with Chardonnay, Grauburgunder and Weißburgunder in 2018. This year it will be on full production!

We have decided to profit from the limestone soils of this wonderful location to give our „Burgunder“ wines a chance. The higher pH of this type of rocky terroir aids in creating fresher wines with a little bit more acidity and finesse. On the nose mineral notes and elegant fruit.

We are especially excited about the chardonnay. This time we planted a Masal Selection instead of a Clonal Selection. There are many advantages about this, especially in organic viticulture. If you would like to learn more about this please read about it here:
